DESCRIPTION

You will:
Work across the WM Risk organization to drive day-to-day management and execution of department priorities
Focus on providing operational task and governance support for WM Risk organization
Play a key role in department coordination and execution of key deliverables, inclusive of forum and routine management
Support planning, preparation and drafting of presentations that lay out key metrics and insights relating to strategic efforts for divisional and Firm senior management
Flexibility and interest in supporting ad hoc projects/deliverables for the WM Risk organization

QUALIFICATIONS

You have:

3-5 years experience in risk management, financial industry and/or business management preferred
Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to tailor message to audience
Exhibit tact and good judgment in confidential situations with proven experience interacting with senior management
Proven ability to work across departments to influence others and build strong relationships
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership
Detail-oriented and thorough with strong follow-up / organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Outstanding time management skills and sound judgment
Proficiency in all Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Wealth Management Risk is responsible for overseeing the risk and control framework within the WM business unit. The group teams up with the various business units as well as the Firm Risk Management group to implement control processes and procedures and protect the firm from exposure to various risks including operational, credit, investment, trading, reputational and model risk.
