Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled FULL-TIME Cook/Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking food, taking initiatives in all areas of the kitchen, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Cook menu items
- Serve patrons if needed
- Answer, report, and follow the manager’s instructions
- Clean up the station and take care of leftover food
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Other kitchen, table cleaning, and dishwashing tasks as needed
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Understanding of food safety practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Good communication skills - Certificate in culinary arts or related field is a plus Join our team and showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
