• Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
  Hourly Rate: £12.85
  Abbeyfield is excited to announce a rare opportunity to join our team as we relaunch the Whispers Restaurant. This is an exciting position for a Cook eager to make their mark in a collaborative environment, supported by our new management team. Working alongside the Chef, you will be part of a dedicated kitchen team delivering high-quality food while maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen that ensures our customers keep coming back for more.
  Located within Abbeyfield’s Girton Green service, the Whispers Restaurant features a diverse menu that includes tea/coffee, homemade bakes, light bites, a seasonal lunch menu, a weekly fish & chips service, and a traditional roast dinner every Sunday—all open to both our Abbeyfield residents and the local community.

About You:We are looking for someone who is:

• Efficient and diligent in their work, with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within the kitchen team.
• Passionate about creating innovative dishes that bring people together.
• Knowledgeable in all Health and Safety standards, including COSHH, EOH, and HACCP legislation.
• Able to support and guide the kitchen staff team to help them achieve their best.
