The H2O Project encompasses several Social Enterprise Businesses running from The Booth Centre Life house in Southampton. The role of the Cook will prepare, cook, present, and serve food working with a team of volunteers in The Sally Anne’s Cafe taking responsibility for ensuring food is prepared, according to food safety standards and customer service standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities: The role of Cook is an exciting and evolving post. The part of the role is to plan healthy and nutritious menus in a cost-effective way to the service taking into account any nutritional and dietary requirements and customer opinion. Ensure that current health and safety and environmental health and hygiene standards and other appropriate regulations and procedures are maintained within the catering facility (e.g., BFH / COSHH) and food storage us carried out to approved British standards.
