We are looking for a weekend cook to join our team. Mohyla is a student residence and serves buffet-style meals for lunch and supper. This position covers all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and clean-up.
The person we are looking for will have a solid work ethic, be skilled at cooking, can follow instructions, and must be able to work independently as this is a solo shift. Meals and parking are provided. Food safety certificate required. The shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
Skills:
- Proven experience as a cook or chef
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team
