- Department: Cardiothoracic Interventional Radiology
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30pm
- Hospital: Ascension Medical Group, Clinic
- Location: 2001 W. 86th St. Indianapolis, IN
Preferred experience working with dialysis patients, scheduling, and/or coordinator roles. This position works closely with our dialysis patients, clinical care team and physicians to help streamline and coordinate the care of our dialysis patient population. The role needs someone that is highly organized with clear communication that can work well with others and is self motivated. If you are a great communicator that is looking to help improve the care coordination of the dialysis patient population, this may be for you.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities:
Schedule medical services for patients with other healthcare providers for assigned patient population.
- Coordinate scheduling and referrals to other healthcare providers and services. Obtains approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate.
- Assist with maintenance and updating of provider contact information.
- Ensure that all medical appointments, special instructions and patient information is entered into electronic medical system.
- Follow site-specific protocols and maintains up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance
