EDUCATION:
- Degree in a relevant field.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Excellent command of Excel to produce reports (An asset).
- Excellent command of Word to produce letters and merge postal publications.
- Bilingualism mandatory (French and English, spoken and written).
- Ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing demands, and to change priorities at any time.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities:
Customer
- Respond to commercial customer inquiries using available technological tools and methods, while ensuring the highest level of customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries and problems (properly coordinating the opening of new accounts with our internal/external sales staff).
- Analyze customer profiles, effectively handle customer complaints, identify causes of problems and suggest service improvements to supervisor.
- Submit prospect to representatives, track and document results in database.
- Work closely with other Parkland Group teams to resolve issues and follow up as necessary to continually improve our operations and satisfy our customers.
- Prepare and send invoices and credits to customers.
- Act as liaison between sales, installation and credit teams.
- Participate in the training of new employees and establish familiarization schedules for existing staff.
- Ensure constant communication with the sales team and other internal departments regarding requests, questions raised, sales proposals, potential customers, etc.
Administration
- To update sales group procedures and internal controls.
- Coordination of performance reporting and analysis of differences in oil sales and margins.
- Produce a number of current and special sales reports to track progress against sales targets using our systems (JDE, Power BI, Infosys, CRM and spreadsheets).
- Help process sales commissions (payments) and distribute reports to the sales team.
Sales logistics
- Help the sales department set up meetings, define schedules, extract sales figures and forward changes to the required parties.
- Participate in the development of the sales file administration process and the day-to-day processing of transactions for commercial customers.
- Support the opening of new accounts both physically and in the system.
- Prepare and monitor credit analysis file.
- Follow-up on first delivery or service provision.
- Participate in the purchasing management process: prepare purchase orders, inform customers about products, delivery points and deadlines, and review supporting documents to ensure that expenses comply with company policies.
- Gather documents to prepare sales kits.
- Manage the flow of information across all departments, follow-up, price updates, etc.
- Coordinate Job Fair activities.
- Be flexible and able to meet current deadlines.
- Occasionally, travel to our other service areas may be required. Ensure delivery and installation to the customer’s satisfaction.
