JOB OVERVIEW:

The Administrative Coordinator of Community Health, Social Impact and Community Investment at Monmouth Medical Center s LiveWell Center will assist in the delivery of wellness services for the community including but not limited to health education programming, health screenings, nutrition education, and resource sharing that address the social determinants of health.
The position is based at the LiveWell Center in Eatontown, NJ, a community-based wellness center which provides free health education and nutrition programs to individuals of all ages.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Associate s Degree in Business, Communication, or relevant field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Suite, virtual engagement tools, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and on a team

Preferred:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Communication, or relevant field
  • Previous experience in non-profit, community organization, and/or healthcare setting

Scheduling Requirements:

  • 8:30am-5:00pm with one evening shift per week
  • Monday-Friday with an occasional weekend shift
  • Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Manages online, in-person, and phone enrollment/registration for all programs at the LiveWell Center, Monmouth Medical Center, and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus
  • Answers all calls from community regarding registration for screenings, support groups, lectures and provides information as requested from caller
  • Tracks and trends information requests
  • Documents sign-ins and tracks actual attendance for all programs at the LiveWell Center, Monmouth Medical Center, and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus
  • Greets community members as they enter the Center and points them in the right direction
  • Aware of active programs for the day
  • Coordinates all aspects of class registration, schedule, room setup and breakdown, material printing, food requirements, etc. for various programs
  • Conducts room setup and breakdown with assistance from other staff
  • Provides physician referral and information requests, with appropriate follow-up letters
  • Assists in marketing efforts for LiveWell Center, Monmouth Medical Center, and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus where appropriate
  • Assists with Community Benefit Inventory for Social Accountability, CBISA, data entry and sheet management
  • Assists department educators with data management of participant program surveys
  • Responsible for mailings/calendar distribution to community members, various stakeholders, and community organizations
  • Provides oversite of office inventory and supply management including paper, ink, office supplies, coffee, etc.
  • Provides support related to LiveWell Center technology for staff and presenters, inclusive of technology checks before programs as appropriate
  • Maintains a flexible work schedule with the ability to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed
  • Contributes to departmental/organizational projects and performance improvement activities
  • All other duties as assigned
