MEMBER EXPERIENCE
- Contribute to asset management through tracking equipment lifecycles and maintenance, checking inventory, and ordering supplies.
- Share individual passion and talents to show how you are an advocate of raising healthier generations.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that can at times be physically demanding.
- Lead, manage and implement new ways of building play-based experiences as well as social, inclusive, learning environments for the Aquatic area.
- Collaborate with fellow leaders to create tools and materials that benefit guests, team members.
- Build strong relationships and co-create with our aquatic audience to determine their needs and what they value and make recommendations to Aquatic Manager with the goal to improve the overall customer experience and create meaningful touchpoints.
- Ensure the pool allocation and website content is accurate and updated regularly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive aquatic leadership and supervisory experience
- Current Intermediate First Aid and CPR-C/AED certifications
- National Lifeguard
- Swim Instructor
- Lifesaving Instructor
- Post-Secondary Diploma and/or University Degree in kinesiology, recreation or customer service management, business, etc.
Responsibilities:
ROLE:
As the Aquatic Operations Coordinator, you are responsible for the health and safety and overall guest and team experience in the aquatic facilities. You will assist with overseeing the daily to one year out operations of all aquatic team members and the aquatics department. You will provide leadership and support critical administration to ensure the department is operating in an efficient and professional manner. You will participate in developing and creating public spaces and members spaces that connect and engage with our customers, community and employees in ways that are impactful in driving and advancing our cause. You will engage with passion and be accountable to the team to help deliver strong results and impact, proving a safe and customer centric experience for our customers and employees.
Reports to: Manager, Aquatics
Hours: 40 hours per week (primarily in an administrative capacity with the requirement to teach or lifeguard as needed.
