Description:
COORDINATOR EMERGENCY RISK MANAGEMENT, CLERK GRADE 7/8 – METRO
- Work in a volunteer-based agency supporting communities of NSW.
- Significant focus on developing and maintaining best practice emergency risk management strategies, policies and systems to reduce existing and future emergency management risk.

Responsibilities:
- Have relevant tertiary education and/or demonstrated experience in a related field.
- Have experience in developing and implementing risk reduction strategies.
- Geospatial Intelligence experience is desired although not essential.
- Have experience in working with multiple stakeholders to achieve a desired outcome.
- Enjoy working within a collaborative team environment to achieve outcomes to support communities of NSW.
- Have demonstrated experience and awareness of NSW planning systems and the ability to interpret and apply policy in an emergency management context.
- Are willing to obtain competence in NSW SES Flood Analyst course within 12 months.
- Have thorough knowledge of AIIMS principles and processes, and/or willingness to obtain competence within 12 months
