Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Coordinator of Evaluation, you will handle a range of administrative and analytical tasks critical to our evaluation and programmatic functions. You will set deadlines, send reminders, and facilitate data migration for historical records. You will assist in implementing program evaluation tools, support the development of dashboards in our CRM, and consolidate stakeholder feedback to enhance reporting. Your work will involve collecting and analyzing data from various initiatives, including catalyst evaluation activities and staff feedback, facilitating focus groups. You will also support the development of clear, actionable reports for various stakeholders. This is an opportunity to ensure that evaluation processes run smoothly, enabling the organization to maintain evidence-based practices that guide our growth and success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in data management, evaluation, research support, or a related field, preferably within the nonprofit or education sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle administrative tasks and solutions related to evaluation workflows, such as ensuring high retention and quality responses, setting deadlines, sending reminders, and organizing data sets.
  • Familiarity with data analysis methods (quantitative and qualitative) and experience in interpreting feedback from diverse sources (e.g., surveys, focus groups, staff inputs).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple/competing priorities and timelines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to summarize and present data findings in a clear, accessible manner to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate needs and engage with varying team members to achieve evaluation tasks (i.e., present accessible data and knowledge).
  • Proficiency in productivity, project management, and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Asana), and comfort with or willingness to learn CRM and data visualization platforms.
  • Ability to assess situations, identify available resources, seek feedback, and suggest solutions or recommendations to address challenges.
  • Commitment to advancing research and evaluation through a critical and equity-based lens, with experience in strength-based, asset-based, and participatory approaches to community-driven development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead administrative tasks related to evaluation activities, including setting deadlines, sending reminders to stakeholders, and managing the data migration of historical participant and program data.
  • Analyze and report on catalyst evaluation data and staff feedback, providing clear summaries and insights for internal use.
  • Assist in conducting and analyzing program-related focus groups, ensuring that qualitative feedback is accurately captured and interpreted.
  • Support data analysis and report writing across various VoS programs, ensuring that reports are user-friendly, visually engaging, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Assist in implementing evaluation tools and dashboards within the customer relationship management (CRM) software, facilitating streamlined data capture, tracking, and reporting.
  • Consolidate feedback on impact reports to support continuous improvement and address the diverse needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with evaluation team members and other functional areas to ensure timely completion of quarterly deliverables, maintain data quality, and support decision-making with evidence-based insights.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support the Research and Evaluation team’s key goals and objectives.
  • Comfortable working in diverse, multidisciplinary, and dynamic teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate support and engage with team members to achieve goals.
