Description:
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- EASA B1 license with B747-400 and 747-8 endorsement.
- Secondary technical education, apprenticeship, or bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Experience with AOG recovery and Maintenance outstation daily operations.
- Being open-minded and relating comfortably with diverse groups of people.
- Fluent in English, other languages are considered as an advantage.
- Have good, standard knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Mature attitude and ability to work well with people and achieve results.
- Good organizational and reporting skill.
- Experience in supervising would be considered as an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance support for Cargolux aircraft: By daily review of station performance, at Cargolux stations and off route destinations within their assigned area.
- Supervise and support the Engineers and people assigned to perform maintenance in the assigned area.
- New CV station set up and/or provider onboarding.
- Coordinate the management of the supporting digital hardware and associated software and content. (Ipads, Quick turn, FSTHM, AMOS, Fleet Support Portal, World map, sharepoint etc).
- Monitor maintenance contracts and agreements for all maintenance performed on Cargolux aircraft in their area: By suggesting contractual agreements with providers to their superiors and reviewing such contracts on regular basis.
- Responsible for spare parts and tools located at stations: By advising management on spare part requirement at line stations and aircraft fly away kit.
- Regular review of station requirement and performance: By ensuring the stations are adequately manned with qualified personnel, and all legal and regulatory requirements are met to conform to the Cargolux maintenance program.
- By monitoring maintenance related delays in their area and recommend changes to maximize on time performance.
- Maximize contractual performance: By review of provider performance and request corrective actions.
- Improve Quality Standards: By assuming responsibility for technical activities in their area using Cargolux EASA Part 145 authorization.
- Support the station Engineers with day-to-day requirements including but not limited to technical training, IT assets management, Quick turn issues, AMOS implementation etc.
- By Implement corrective actions on Quality Compliance and Monitoring discrepancies resulting from audits.
- Contribute to team effort: By performing related tasks as needed and encouraging suggestions and personnel initiative.
- Control third party work in their area: By reviewing and reporting all customer work performed by line stations.
- Budget and revenue: The position holder prepares the budget for departmental head approval and keeps the cost in line with the department’s approved budget.
- Strategic responsibility: The position holder has some strategic planning responsibility. They must contribute to achieve the goals fixed for the position in the department strategy plan or by budget.
