Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Reports to the Assistant VP, Foundation, the Grants Coordinator is responsible for coordinating assigned pre/post grant activities and award project administration. Organizational objectives are the coordination of the successful implementation of assigned grant pre-award activities and post award projects from federal, state, industry and private sources to fulfill the mission of St. Elizabeth Healthcare and to improve the health of our community.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Coordinates grant funded projects including assisting with grant funding initiatives, implementation of grant awards and evaluation of programs/projects across the system. Develop, promote and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally. Delegate and check daily assignments on a project. Prioritize and delegate tasks. Performance indicators will include but not be limited to successful grant award project coordination (set up and contract compliance), feedback from project team about timely/effective support, timely/effective work and timely outcome reports to the Grant Director.
- Assist the AVP, Foundation with grant application submissions including new and renewals. Performance indicators will include but not be limited to successful new and renewal grant application submissions.
- Assist the AVP, Foundation with funder stewardship including establishing professional relationships with foundations, corporations and government contacts to assist with grant funding process. Performance indicators will include but not be limited to grantor relationships.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, LICENSES:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent in a related field.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
- Proficient at coordinating grant pre and post award activities with minimal oversight
- Ability to interface and build effective relationships with clinical staff, management and key stakeholders
- Attitudes which reflect proactive and positive style, effective delegation and team collaborative approaches
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and fundraising software
- Excellent verbal and written communication
KIND AND LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years of experience coordinating grant funded projects in non-profit organizations and specialized knowledge which comes from past experience
