HACCP Coordinator - Orangeville

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE :

You’ll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Reporting to the QA Supervisor, the HACCP Coordinator, is responsible monitoring and maintaining the effectiveness, develop, implement and revise the Food Safety Systems at the Orangeville facility. The Food Safety System encompasses Food Safety, Quality and Food Defense and Security as well as some aspects of Personnel Health and Safety.
Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:30AM to 4:30PM
Salary: $58,970 - $73,735

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years experience within the food manufacturing industry - dairy experience an asset
• With at least 2 years experience in HACCP development, implementation, auditing and monitoring
• At least 1 year experience in a scientific laboratory
• Superior communication and organization skills
• Interpersonal skills to facilitate projects and enhance inter-departmental interactions
• Good time management with strong administrative skills
• Ability to embrace change with enthusiasm
• Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
• Knowledge of the USA FDA, Canadian Federal (CFIA) and Food and Drugs Act
• Knowledge of Ontario Provincial Dairy regulations
• Knowledge of Nutritional requirements for Canada and the US an asset
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other Health & Safety regulations and policies
• Team player, but also has the ability to work independently
• Motivated individual who thinks in a positive proactive manner
