Description:
Overview:
Responsible for various administrative duties within the Human Resources Department. Maintenance of employee personnel files, terminations, general filing, system data entry, verification and reporting. Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains both current and archived Personnel Files
- Maintain Job Descriptions for new and updated positions in the systems
- Record employee disciplinary actions into system
- Process employee termination paperwork
- Drug test administration
- Interface with Payroll Department, Human Service, Benefits Staff as needed
- Maintain Termination Listing and its distribution
- Maintain Suspension Listing and its distribution
- Process Wage Adjustments and Transfer paperwork
- Receptionist duties as required
- Answer phones and respond to questions related to HR and other company issues
- Respond to inquiries and log employment verifications
- Ability to direct employees and/or callers to correct area within the department and company
- Run system reports as needed in both UltiPro and Cognos systems
- Maintain and update personnel data in UltiPro system
- Responsible for verification of department time keeping (TimeStar)
- Assist with general filing
- Cross training of duties assigned to other HR coordinators
- Ordering and tracking of general supplies for department
- Data entry verification as needed
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- One year office experience.
- Must have basic computer experience including Excel , and Microsoft Word.
- Prior experience in a Human Resources environment helpful.
Pay range: $21.00 - $27.30 per hour
- Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment
