We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator for our Center, Texas Manufacturing Facility, reporting directly to the Inventory Supervisor. This position will be responsible for the accuracy, and control of the inventory.
JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s inventory levels to ensure accurate and efficient tracking, stocking, and distribution of products and materials. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure inventory accuracy and supporting the overall supply chain operations.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an inventory specialist, inventory clerk, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, ensuring quantities are accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Update inventory records in the inventory management system.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, shortages, and excesses.
- Provide regular updates to management on inventory status and recommend actions to optimize stock levels.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, adjustments, and transfers.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and production teams to ensure inventory aligns with business needs.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and customers regarding inventory-related matters.
- Assist in the development of inventory-related training programs for staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in handling and storing inventory.
