Description:
OVERVIEW:
The Coordinator, Marketing and Communications is a key support for building online visibility, increasing association awareness, and growing and fostering the community whilst simultaneously deepening its engagement with the CPA. The position will be responsible for supporting the Association’s outreach to members, partners, and external stakeholders and will play an integral role in the execution of marketing and communications activities across all CPA channels.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, and under the direction of the Managers, Strategic Communications (2), the Coordinator, Marketing and Communications supports the marketing and communications operations of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) in pursuit of its strategic direction.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–4 years of experience in a Marketing and Communications role
- Completion of a community college certification or diploma in Marketing or Communications
- Experience working in a professional or not-for-profit association would be considered an asset
- Strong relationship management skills and/ and the ability to manage and foster productive relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external contacts and distribute marketing and communications content across CPA channels
- Experience effectively managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines
- Able to Write, edit, and proofread a wide variety of marketing and communications content
- Ability to analyze CPA website data and metrics across key channels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Canva, Google Analytics, Google Ads, photo and video editing software, social media management software, and/or other similar programs
- Ability to communicate in both official languages would be an asset
