YOUR SKILLS, OUR REQUIREMENTS!

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Recognized professional Health and Safety qualification is desirable.
  • Knowledge of H&S regulatory framework in BC and the US.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • A valid unrestricted class 5 driver’s license.
  • Excellent team player and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Integrity and ethical work standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills reflected in the ability to foster solid working relationships.
  • Experience in the following focus areas would be desirable: job hazard/loss analysis, risk assessment, incident investigation and root cause analysis, writing safety procedures and claim management.Ability to travel regularly to facilities in Western Canada.
