The Opportunity:

Location: Lakeside, NS
Closing Date: February 10, 2025
We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Reliability team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Reliability Engineer you will share the overall accountability for the successful execution of reliability projects on the distribution system.
Key elements of this role include::

Primary accountabilities include:

  • Maintain metrics and prepare and provide reports to the Project Lead;
  • Manage logistics for project related activities and provide overall administrative support to the project;
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders to get work ready for scheduling
  • Collaborate with scheduling department on executing reliability work
  • Reviewing and analyzing project forecasts in collaboration with Project Managers.
  • Input and preparation of key metrics/reports for project performance.
  • Coordination of month end accruals and completion of project expenses.

Secondary accountabilities include:

  • Arranging meetings with stakeholder and managing logistics for project related activities.
  • Document meeting minutes and produce action plans and follow-up on action items.
  • Maintaining project procedures for activity tracking, managing the procedure, and tracking deliverable status

  • University degree (or community college/technical diploma) from an accredited post-secondary institute and/or a recognized project management certification or equivalent experience
  • A solid understanding of, and experience with document/records management.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects and manage priorities.
  • Effective communication and strong organizational skills.
  • A self-starter who has the willingness and ability to learn new processes.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and are attentive to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP or other business warehousing tools would be an asset.
