QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
- Certificate in Medical Office Administration or equivalent Health Care related field required
- Health Information Management Diploma preferred
- Certification in good standing with the Canadian Health Information Management Association an asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a complex hospital environment required, HIM preferred
- Previous experience in a leadership role e.g., Coordinator role, preferred
- Experience managing projects and initiatives aligned with strategic directions
- Experience with Green Belt (Lean Process Improvement) an asset
- Previous involvement developing, implementing & monitoring a data quality program/QA reports an asset
- Experience with hospital information services e.g., Cerner and Tele-tracking systems an asset
