Description:

Position Description:
Reporting to the Manager, Trade and Growth Programs, the Coordinator, Trade and Growth Programs is responsible for providing professional support to the Trade and Growth Programs Team. The Coordinator will participate in the implementation and delivery of the programs across Ontario and support the Trade and Growth Programs National roll-out.

Role Description:

  • Lead and oversee the coordination, administration, and delivery of Trade and Growth Programs in Ontario and across Canada, ensuring alignment with national strategic objectives.
  • Support delivery of Trade and Growth Programs in Ontario and across Canada, ensuring the alignment of activities with the broader organizational strategy and program objectives.
  • Liaise and provide coordination support to Trade and Growth Program sponsors and partners across Canada
  • Communicate and liaise internally with the marketing, communication, and events teams to ensure proper & timely promotion of Trade and Growth Program activities and successes
  • Responsible for the recruitment and enrollment process for participating companies, supporting the team with maximizing program reach and impact.
  • Provide support for the maintenance and growth of client and partner relationships
  • Lead the management of the Learning Management system (Disco) to ensure administration, tracking and reporting of all Trade and Growth Programs
  • Provide support to participating companies both during and following each session including programming related issues, logistical information, and the export plan feedback process
  • Responsible for the regular and consistent data collection and necessary follow-up with participating companies for both in-take and bi-annual surveys
  • Assist with quarterly reporting on past Trade and Growth Program participants’ and success stories through building of Testimonials and Case Studies. As well as, providing necessary reports to key governmental program sponsors when necessary
  • Assist with preparing presentations for delivery in Trade and Growth Program sessions and to key multipliers’ organizations
  • Represent Trade and Growth Programs and WTC-T at local trade shows and business development activities

Your experience includes:

  • A highly experienced, action-oriented professional with 5+ years of experience in program coordination, business development, or trade-related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and leading program initiatives across multiple regions.
  • Proficiency in business administration, research, marketing, and customer service
  • Sound judgement and ability in handling matters of a confidential and/or sensitive nature as it relates to companies’ internal information
  • Ability to create and manage processes
  • Computer fluency to use a variety of software is an asset, i.e., Outlook, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, graphics, project management, Python, SQL, R, etc.
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced, results oriented organization
  • Fluency in English and any other language is an asset
  • International exposure in the form of internships, studies, or work is an asset
  • Sales experience is an asset
  • Strong analytical abilities, using data to drive insights and strategic decisions.
