Description:

We are looking for an efficient, SERVER ASSISTANT who thrives in a team environment and works well with others to ensure our customers receive prompt, seamless, engaging service. MUST be available to work early mornings.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year experience as a barback or server assistant in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be available to work mornings & weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A positive, energetic outlook with a passion for hospitality
  • Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, cocktails and liquors
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with acute attention to detail
  • Efficient and reliable with excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to carry and lift up to 25-40 lbs

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders/Servers have clean towels, glassware, etc
  • Ensure the bar is well stocked with ice, liquor, beer and wine and all nonalcoholic beverages
  • Ensure the dining room is well stocked with roll-ups, glassware etc
  • Check taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs, or changing out kegs, if needed
  • Keep the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles
  • Maintain records and report levels of usage to assist in the reordering process and ensuring that delivered items are stored properly
  • Learn about menu items and memorize cocktail recipes
  • Other duties to support the bartender/server and ensure that the dining room operates smoothly
