REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior copywriting role with significant experience in marketing communications (experience in the financial sector would be advantageous)
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with demonstrable ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging messages
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing styles and mediums, with an emphasis on marketing content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and content marketing principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and strategic communication.

Responsibilities:

THE OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The primary focus of the Copywriter and Engagement Specialist is to assist with the development and crafting of compelling content that not only engages but also informs and persuades our target
audience. You will play a key role in developing and executing content strategies across various channels to ensure our messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned to our business goals to enhance
our value proposition. Your work will help bridge the gap between complex information and accessible, actionable insights, ensuring that our messaging is impactful and resonates with diverse
stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaboration and integration: Act as a key connector, fostering collaboration between the communications and marketing teams to produce content that resonates with our stakeholders and supports campaign goals.
  • Copywriting: Develop and write clear, persuasive, and original copy for a wide range of materials, including websites, emails, social media, web articles, brochures, and more.
  • Copyediting: Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Project management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and align with the overall strategy.
  • Campaign Management: Assist in the creation and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns that support product launches, employee and client engagement initiatives, as well as financial education initiatives for members.
  • Analytics: Use analytics and data-driven insights to understand our target audience, market trends, and competitors, ensuring content is relevant and effective, measure the effectiveness of communication and marketing initiatives, continuously optimising strategies to improve outcomes.
  • Best practice: Stay informed on industry trends, incorporating best practices into content creation to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Teamwork: Contribute to brainstorming sessions, providing strategic input and creative ideas for campaigns.
