Description:
Play a vital role in our financial operations! Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with the Senior Corporate Accountants and play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and managing essential tax reporting requirements.
You’ll also have the opportunity to engage with various aspects of corporate accounting, making this an exciting position.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns (Income tax, SWT, FBT returns and on occasion, GST returns) with relevant tax authorities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and senior management, to ensure compliance with tax risk framework and business objectives.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive tax reports, working with various accounting systems and software.
- Conduct thorough tax reconciliations and use your attention to detail to ensure all tex-related data is accurate and complete.Execute all necessary accounting procedures at month’s end and compile the Monthly Operating Report (MOR), which provides a detailed overview of the month’s financial performance and operational metrics.
TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL
- Bring your CA qualification with 2+ years’ post-qualification work experience.
- Bring experience from a Big Four accounting firm (preferred)
- Demonstrate your wide-ranging understanding of tax laws, regulations, and practices.
- Demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, showing the ability to engage with colleagues and clients effectively.
