Job Description

Location: Vancouver, BC
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Recognized accounting designation, e.g. CPA
· At least 5 years of post qualified experience in a Canadian corporate environment.
· At least 5 years experience managing junior staff.
· Self motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize while under pressure and tight deadlines
· Competent with Excel. Experience with SAP an asset.
The expected salary range for this position is CA$85,000 – CA$115,000, in line with the competitive job market for such roles carried out in British Columbia. Salary ranges are strictly guidelines and any jobs offer received by a candidate will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant education, training, and/or experience

Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for the financial processes for Endeavour’s corporate entities. The prime responsibility of this position is to run the financial processes – accounts payable, payroll and accounting functions– for the corporate entities. Currently there are 4 corporate entities: 2 Canadian holding companies, 1 USA holding company and 1 corporate entity with approximately 30 employees and 40-50 payments per month. The position has 2 direct reports.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Accounting: ongoing oversight and month end formal review of the general ledgers, period end adjustments and reporting.
· Oversee accounts payable process.
· Payroll review and approval for Vancouver and Expatriate staff.
· Prepare annual budget and provide ad-hoc forecasts for the corporate entities.
· Coordinate Canadian & USA government reporting, including GST filings.
· Update internal control process documentation, as necessary, and liaise with internal auditors. Respond to external auditor requests.
· Complete special projects and analysis in support of senior management as required.
