Accounting Manager
Are you ready to lead a team of talented accounting professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We are seeking an energetic Accounting Manager to join our team, where you’ll drive efficient accounting operations, influence strategic decisions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the Accounting department, implementing best practices to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. You’ll manage the close process and establish efficient workflows.
Audit Management: Lead both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance across all accounting operations. Your expertise in internal controls and attention to detail will maintain the integrity and reliability of our financial data.
Cash and Receivables Management: Oversee cash management and accounts receivable accounting, focusing on strengthening internal controls, reducing variances, and increasing consistency across regions.
Mentorship and Team Development: Review and approve essential accounting tasks such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules. You’ll also guide your team in setting and achieving individual Goals and Objectives (G& Os), offering coaching and ongoing feedback.
Collaborate with Key Departments: Partner with other departments to share critical financial insights that support strategic decision-making across the company. Your analytical skills and understanding of key metrics will ensure valuable contributions to cross-functional initiatives.
Process Improvement: Lead initiatives that drive efficiency and reduce costs, implementing process improvements that contribute to the overall growth and agility of the accounting department.
KPI Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress, ensuring a consistent trajectory of improvement within the team.
Take on New Challenges: Embrace additional projects and responsibilities as they arise, adapting your expertise to various areas of the business to drive value.
