Description:
SALARY RANGE: $145,000-$155,000
The Corporate Accounting Manager is a member of the accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reporting through strong execution and management of key accounting functions, including consolidations, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly and year-end closings. The successful candidate should have experience in public accounting and be proficient at consolidation and corporate accounting. Experience in real estate/hospitality accounting is a plus. This position reports to the VP Corporate Accounting. This is a fulltime in-person position and located in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:
- Execute the monthly and year-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare detailed consolidated financial statements of all entities.
- Develop and apply accurate accounting treatment for complex transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Maintain and update cash flow statements and projections while performing bank account administration.
- Collaborate with external auditors by preparing and reviewing audit schedules and documentation.
- Provide necessary data and support for annual tax return preparation and tax provision accounting.
- Maintain and manage fixed asset schedule and depreciation schedule.
- Analyze financial performance metrics
- Support efforts to streamline and automate accounting processes
- Review all entities’ general ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, consolidated financial statements and operational metrics for accuracy and completeness.
- Review or prepare accurate reports or document required for month-end closing in a timely manner.
- Maintain real estate and debt schedules and prepare financial reports and analyses requested by financial institutions.
- Maintain adequate and effective internal controls
- Prepare documentation required for timely completion of annual review/audit process by third party accounting firm.
- Support special projects assigned.
