POSITION SUMMARY:

The Corporate Accounts Manager is responsible for providing on-going support to high value accounts. As a key member of the Australian team, you will be responsible for managing and expanding AirLife’s relationships with major national accounts. The principle purpose is to implement business strategies to develop commercial and contractual partnerships that help achieve profitable business growth. You do this through fostering strong partnerships, driving sales, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
In this role you will utilise strategic selling practices within the allocated accounts to ensure new revenue opportunities are identified and optimised. Allocated accounts will include a mixture of Australia-wide Private and NFP Hospital Groups, Distributors and, Multi-site Healthcare Providers.
You will play a crucial role in strategising and implementing sales plans while working closely with internal teams, and local Account Managers to meet business objectives. This will be through formulating offerings that maximise sales opportunities within prioritised accounts. Act as “voice of customer” to facilitate internal resources to best meet the needs of those identified account groups.
A high degree of emphasis is placed on engaging with C-Suite staff in these organisations to promote the AirLife brand and product portfolio and gain contracts for product delivery. This role is also integral to the implementation of contracts at a site level.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Background in clinical procurement, consumable, or respiratory sales.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare systems and procurement processes.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development & winning new business
  • Ability to identify new market opportunities whilst creating and implementing product and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives
  • General understanding of healthcare protocols
  • General knowledge of application of products and best clinical practice

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to understand customer problems and proactive in resolution of issues
  • Ability to operate in a team based environment to deliver quality customer service whilst meeting business objectives.
  • Knowledge of medical consumables and the healthcare market is a plus.
  • Able to meet deadlines

LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • This position requires a person who has had 5+ years successful relevant sales and/or product management experience at an executive level
  • Tertiary qualifications in a healthcare related discipline, sales, marketing or general business along with experience within a Healthcare related industry/ profession would be most desirable
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to effectively work with teams in a matrix structure as well as work autonomously whilst developing this critical role
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Executive Sales or, similar role within the medical consumable sector.
  • Strong sales track record and a demonstrated ability to achieve targets and revenue growth.
