What you will be responsible for

As Corporate Actions Senior Associate you will

  • Act as a senior member of an operating team providing support and control over complex and time critical corporate action events and transactions.
  • Provide training and coaching to team members
  • Assist managers by prioritizing the workload and ensure daily tasks are completed
  • Ensure effective risk management by coordinating or completing end of day management reporting and ensuring timely escalation and resolution of pertinent issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert support on projects and initiatives aimed at improving the corporate action product.
  • Provide coverage in the absence of team member or First Line Manager.
  • Deliver effective client service
  • Work on projects related to process improvement, control environment improvement, and automation

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Successfully completed economics studies, completed banking training or comparable educational background is a plus
  • Professional experience in corporate actions of a depositary or a capital management company for at least 4 years is a plus
  • Good expertise in the field of corporate actions and general meetings in the German market, as well as very good SWIFT experience is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
