Description:

Oversees the daily fund and investment operational tasks of Corporate Actions team. Monitors various controls and procedures to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures. Ensures all investment management systems, functions, and processes impacted by corporate action events are complete and accurate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of five years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred. Graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Consults and advises key stakeholders, acts as subject matter and technical expert, identifies and resolves complex operational issues. Leads internal control framework improvements and formulates strategic recommendations. Works with portfolio managers to ensure election decisions are met.
  2. Serves as an escalation contact. Creates, builds, and maintains relationships with portfolio traders and managers.
  3. Maintains corporate action information databases to ensure information is entered and distributed to internal and external partners. Proactively anticipates portfolio events and leads process enhancement initiatives.
  4. Maintains communication with internal and external partners to resolve process and reconciliation issues. Oversees the research and implementation of complex process improvements.
  5. Oversees internal event tracking, performs incident analysis. Evaluates and enhances workflows.
  6. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
