JOB DESCRIPTION:
Based in Milan, the Corporate Affairs Senior Manager will be part of a cross-segment CA team in South Europe, but will have a strong reporting line responsibility to the CA Director of Mars Wrigley in South Europe (includes Iberia, Italy, Israel, Palestine, Greece & Balkans), and a dotted reporting line responsibility to the CA Director of Pet Nutrition in South Europe.
The job holder will represent the function at the Italy market management level (supporting the Market Head of Mars Wrigley and the Market Head of Pet Nutrition in Italy).
The job holder will work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues from Marketing, R&D, Commercial, P&O and the other members of the South Europe Cluster Leadership Team, as well as with the regional Corporate Affairs Leadership Team.
Responsibilities:
Contributes to the definition of the CA objectives, strategies and plans for the Italian market specifically
& South Europe cluster as overall.
- Contributes to the overall CA objectives, strategies and plans and monitoring the progress in
achieving that strategy.
Increases our corporate reputation through enhanced external visibility
- Contributes to the development of the corporate reputation plan articulating roles, responsibilities
and priorities at market level. Provides insights & recommendations from market perspective.
Enables market and cluster leaders to contribute to increasing our reputation.
- Leverages key corporate and segment messages and positions (Petcare, Confectionery &
Chocolate) consistently and positively as part of a communications plan for the unit that helps
drive share of voice of Mars in Italy.
- Engages with influential external stakeholders, including trade associations, governments/
regulators, non-governmental organizations, academia, key opinion formers and communities.
