WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU (QUALIFICATIONS):
- Experience in Loss Prevention, Security or Military background is beneficial, but not required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
- Flexibility to work all shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service with excellent follow through.
- Ability to lead and teach classes related to safety, orientation, evacuation and powered equipment operation.
- Strong investigative skills/techniques.
- Working knowledge or CCTV, access control and alarm devices.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Excellent computer skills - proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
- Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support security efforts through access control, investigations and theft deterrence.
- Conducts hazardous emergency evacuation drills including tornado and fire drills.
- Thoroughly document Asset Protection activity within the case management system.
- Respond to emergency situations and make appropriate decisions.
- Conducts internal/external theft investigations.
- Maintain a safe work area and address/report safety concerns to leadership
