Description:

As an Analyst in Corporate Banking, you will have access to senior officers of the firm and senior clients. You will be challenged to perform at the highest levels of excellence and are rewarded for your achievements in a demanding environment, working with other professionals as a team drawing from the full spectrum of the firm’s resources to develop customized financial solutions to meet the needs of clients.
You will work with Managing Directors, Executive Directors, Vice Presidents and Associates, assisting them with all client activities (marketing, execution and on-going relationship management). You will assume responsibility for managing internal processes for deal executions, internal approvals, business aspects of regulatory reporting and ongoing management of client relationship

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience or internship in corporate banking, investment banking, or a related financial field.
  • Familiarity with financial software and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters).

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support lending decisions.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess the creditworthiness of corporate clients.
  • Research and Reporting:
  • Prepare industry and market research to identify trends and potential risks.
  • Compile reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
  • Client Support:
  • Assist in the preparation of client proposals and presentations.
  • Support relationship managers in managing client accounts and addressing client inquiries.
  • Credit Assessment:
  • Assist in the preparation of credit applications and risk assessments.
  • Monitor existing credit facilities and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Transaction Support:
  • Support the execution of transactions, including loan syndications and trade finance deals.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all client interactions and transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal reports and compliance documentation.
