KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in a senior secretarial role.
- Experienced in dealing with Senior Executives, Non- Executive Directors and Board Committees.
- Proven track record of strong relationship management with senior executives, Non-Executive Directors and senior external stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills.
- Proven organisational and project management skills.
- Strong influencing skills, with ability to support and challenge business leadership to ensure delivery of high quality papers and follow up on actions.
- The ability to multi-task, manage work under pressure, to complete work accurately and deliver to agreed deadlines.
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of business operations.
- Ability to work independently on own initiative.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Benefact Group, are looking for a Corporate Office Assistant to join our Gloucester office.
As Corporate Office Assistant you will provide secretarial and organisational management to the GMB and Board of Directors of Group companies to facilitate the efficient running of Board and Committee meetings and other governance activities utilising appropriate technology to maximise productivity and business performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To organise Board, Committee and Annual General Meetings including the annual planning and organising of meetings, producing agendas, co-ordination and quality control of papers and producing minutes and resolutions, booking meeting rooms and other ancillary matters.
- To continually improve and streamline the Board and Committee processes, making effective use of new and existing technology.
- To review the Board portal regularly and ensure it is kept up to date.
- To work in partnership with the business to ensure that the needs of the Board and Committees are understood and fully integrated into Board and Committee papers submitted.
- To proactively track, expedite and report on follow up Board and Committee actions.
- Co-ordination and delivery of Board governance activities such as induction, board evaluations, training, and management of conflicts of interest.
- To ensure that all Board policies are reviewed regularly and approved by the Board.
- To lead specific projects to improve the board process.
- To ensure that Board practices adopted by Ecclesiastical are adopted by the Boards including internationally.
