Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Corporate Associate to join our legal team. This unique position will involve shaping our approach to corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, tax, and innovative transactions that support our sustainability goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- LLB or equivalent degree, with excellent academic credentials. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- 5+ years of experience of in corporate law, preferably with the exposure to securities, governance, intellectual property, and tax matters.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- A passion for sustainability and technology.
- Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- 8+ years’ experience in intellectual property law.

Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate complex corporate agreement and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant securities law and regulations.
- Advice on corporate governance matters, including board responsibilities and SEC filings.
- Support M&A processes and strategic initiatives.
- Provide guidance on intellectual property rights and tax advisory related to transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Provide legal training and guidance to clients.
- Manage clients board meetings and provide ongoing corporate secretarial support for electricity infrastructure and supply agreement, as well as power purchase agreements.
