Job Summary:
The Corporate Compliance Director drives a robust culture of integrity at Surescripts by developing, executing, and advancing Surescripts’ Corporate Compliance program.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and conduct a periodic compliance risk assessment that reflects the company’s unique business and identifies and stratifies the key compliance risks, current and emerging, for the enterprise.
  • Develop, implement and maintain written policies and standards that drive a culture of compliance and support adherence to applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Create and deliver educational and awareness activities that are responsive to risks identified in the compliance risk assessment, fulfill the obligations and expectations of the company to various stakeholders, and inspire a culture of trust and business integrity.
  • Develop and implement risk-responsive compliance monitoring and auditing workplans and projects.
  • Develop and maintain effective open lines of communication for reporting any suspected non-compliance.
  • Conduct compliance investigations and enforce compliance standards through well-publicized disciplinary guidelines.
  • Identify relevant data sources and implement an analytics approach to drive insights on business integrity and improve program efficiency and effectiveness. Embrace and implement opportunities to focus internal compliance expertise on complex, high value matters while automating and streamlining high-volume, lower complexity matters.
  • Present actionable compliance reports to the Corporate Compliance Committee and other leadership, as appropriate.
  • Respond to customer or other external compliance requests and effectively communicate Surescripts’ compliance program to leaders at customer organizations and/or with regulators.
  • Serve as the company’s Antitrust Compliance Officer, in collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Litigation, and as specified in applicable judicial orders. This includes managing antitrust compliance training, reports, and workplans.
  • Establish and cultivate strong working relationships with business partners. This includes aligning certain objectives and co-creating joint solutions with Commercial Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Human Resources, Information Security, Privacy.
  • Maintain an awareness of changes in laws, regulations, rules, and enforcement actions
  • and adapt program elements as necessary
