Description:

Reporting to Senior Manager, Legal, Compliance and Insurance, our client is seeking an experienced candidate with knowledge and expertise in working in a regulatory or compliance environment. The role will be involved in projects that support the effective management of compliance with legal obligations and to build the capability, competency and confidence of the workforce towards compliance.
Reporting to Senior Manager, Legal, Compliance and Insurance, our client is seeking an experienced candidate with knowledge and expertise in working in a regulatory or compliance environment. The role will be involved in projects that support the effective management of compliance with legal obligations and to build the capability, competency and confidence of the workforce towards compliance. This involves ensuring a whole-of-organisation approach to inform and achieve a robust compliance management system in alignment with ISO37301:2021 and determining the most suitable compliance initiatives, tools and KPIs that will enhance the measurement and continuous improvement of compliance across the organisation. You will also lead the development and delivery of the Corporate Compliance Improvement Project including assessing current corporate compliance culture and developing roadmap(s) to shift the business from current to future-state culture through the implementation of the Corporate Compliance Improvement Project. You will have excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, including a demonstrated ability for dealing with Executive, senior managers and external stakeholders
Suitable candidates will have knowledge and expertise in working in a regulatory or compliance environment with strong project management and organisational skills. You will have experience in compliance systems with demonstrable success at developing partnerships between support and business functions. The ability to work under pressure, meeting rapidly changing priorities with limited direction is essential. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, including a demonstrated ability for dealing with Executive, senior managers and external stakeholders. Flexible hours and some after hours as required with some intra and interstate travel at times.
