REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Undergraduate LLB or post-graduate from a highly regarded university and valid practising certificate in an Australian jurisdiction.
- 5-7 years PQE experience at a reputable law firm and/or in- house legal department.
- Outstanding legal drafting skills; rigor/attention to detail; and strong legal reasoning.
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritise and manage deadlines, in a fast pace, rapidly evolving and demanding industry and work environment.
- Highly adaptable and service-oriented attitude. Ability to handle pressure and provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Team oriented and collaborative attitude.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with demanding internal clients.
- Familiar with and interested in technical concepts (Web applications/cloud computing/digital transformation/Artificial Intelligence) and the Professional Services associated with their implementation.
- Can-do attitude, pro-active, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities:
- Review, negotiate and draft agreements, such as master subscription agreements, professional services agreements, data processing addenda, alliances agreements, non-disclosure agreements and order forms in support of the ANZ public sector sales team, professional services and alliances teams.
- Work with the sales and professional services, revenue recognition, sales operations and pricing internal teams to support processes for contracting and order processing.
- Closely partner with the other departments, including privacy, security and compliance to ensure agreements are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes.
- Provide legal and commercial support in relation to existing contracts and provide support in the event of any disputes or potential disputes.
- Complete legal administrative tasks to support our ANZ customers.
- Assist the company in maintaining and securing compliance with
Australian/New Zealand laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing training materials and provide training to the
business on relevant legal topics and best practices.
- Actively contribute to the ANZ Commercial Legal team’s ongoing development of knowledge, skills and processes.
- Participate in cross-regional team projects.
- Look after yourself, your colleagues and the company’s interest.
