About our Team
Our team are instrumental in providing legal oversight and support for all legal matters for the global technology team supporting RX’s in-person events.
About the Role
As Corporate Counsel, you will proactively identify legal risks and implications of our business transactions and guide our development and roll out of digital solutions. Your skills and expertise will be crucial in leading supporting our global technology function and digital solutions supporting RX’s in-person events, drawing on and escalating matters and risks as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Providing legal support for a wide variety of technology licenses & services and business and service digital product solution matters
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and interpreting a range of contracts and other legal documents, including global technology purchasing and license agreements
  • Working closely with digital service solution owners to advise on business and legal matters posed by developments to the services and applicable laws
  • Coordinating with Privacy and Information Security teams to ensure personal data and confidential information is collected, used, and secured in accordance with the law and company policy
  • Providing timely and thoughtful legal advice on potential risks and issues, and propose practical, business-oriented solutions
  • Maintaining an awareness and understanding of the latest developments in the law and technology as they relate to technology procurement and digital services

Requirements

  • Have product services counsel and regulatory experience with building and supporting technology solutions
  • Have understanding of how to assess, develop, launch and scale enterprise-focused products
  • Show experience in digital, including a thorough understanding of and demonstrated proficiency with technology agreements
  • Demonstrate experience with UK, US and international laws looking at content, privacy, IP and consumer protection
  • Show comfort translating legal speak for Engineering and Product teams
  • Be able to stretch and improve established thinking, processes and system to improve collaboration and efficiency
  • At least three years relevant post qualification experience
