Description:
SUMMARY
We are looking for a Corporate Finance Analyst to join the team at one of our many portfolio companies. In this role, you will be expected to manage a comprehensive internal financial model, lead the execution of high-complexity corporate finance transactions, and manage multiple workstreams in support of these transactions. You will work closely with senior management and the portfolio company’s board of directors within this role, and will be expected to engage in a wide variety of internal finance and corporate development work.

Your role will include:
- Managing a complex internal financial model for the purposes of financial forecasting, board reporting, and external presentations
- Managing amendments to the model or additional financial models for corporate finance transactions
- Managing due diligence processes, including managing third-party advisors
- Preparing presentations and actively participating in discussions
- Maintaining marketing materials for the firm, including creating pitch decks to be presented to potential clients
- Researching potential opportunities; providing research on comparable companies, sectors, industries, and geographies
REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE
- No experience beyond internships is required, but up to two years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, financial accounting, business valuation or similar industries is an asset
- An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, statistics, or other related fields
- Ability to concisely communicate complex concepts and ideas verbally and in writing
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
- Desire to assume increasing levels of responsibility and seek solutions to complex problems
- Committed to producing accurate and thorough work under tight deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
