We have an exiting opportunity for a Corporate Governance Officer to join our team at Primary Care Doncaster (PCD)!
We’re looking for someone with excellent knowledge and expertise to join our Business Development Team. If you have a background of quality, governance, and compliance then this could be the role for you!
This role will support a busy and business critical function, working collaboratively to support Primary Care and General Practice, providing an effective and efficient service.
As part of the Corporate Governance Officer role you will support PCD in the successful running of the governance of the organisation, including:
Liaising with the PCD Chief Information Officer, Senior Information Risk Officer, Data Protection Officer and Caldicott Guardian
Lead the completion of the NHS Data Security Toolkit
Monitor and coordinate Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests
Development and monitoring of the Information Asset Register
Maintain Declaration of Interests Register
Oversee development of annual audit plans
Maintain and coordinate the PCD Performance and Assurance Framework
Attend and participate in the Information Governance Group and Corporate Governance Committee
Assist in development and update of PCD’s policies and processes, and maintain the policy matrix and library
Produce data and information sharing agreements

You will work within the Primary Care Doncaster (PCD) Team, in a role which will involve assisting, managing, reviewing, and developing the integrated governance of the organisation.

Management and maintenance of the organisational Performance and Assurance Framework
Continuous development of the organisation’s governance and risk management arrangements
Providing support and advice to employees about areas within the remit of the post
Tracking trends in risks, complaints, compliments to allow learning and appropriate organisational development and growt
