Description:

We are open to applications from across the UK, as long as you are are open to travelling to Newcastle for meetings as required (please reach out to the TA team to discuss in more detail).
The Talent Acquisition team supports the organisation in attracting the best talent to the NHS Business Services Authority, enables our existing colleagues to progress their careers, and helps build and influence our employer brand.
You will support the HR & Talent Acquisition and Reward Teams, assisting the delivery of professional HR services to all managers, candidates, and colleagues across the organisation, in line with policies and procedures and terms and conditions of employment.
The role will also provide support to the HR, Reward and Talent Acquisition Advisory teams as required, such as assisting with the candidate queries, recruitment processes, employee relations cases and the development and delivery of team and organisational wide training

To provide effective and comprehensive support to the Talent Acquisition Team, assisting the delivery of Talent Acquisition services to all managers, candidates, and colleagues across the organisation.
This will include dealing with a range of People queries, from both internal and external customers through managing the Talent Acquisition Inbox. Co-ordinating and improving Talent Acquisition processes to ensure a smooth flow in relation to recruitment and people-related tasks.
The role will also provide support to the Talent Acquisition Advisory team as required, such as assisting with candidate queries, queries from recruiting managers, and the development and delivery of team and organisational wide training.

Responsibilities:

Responding to internal and external customer requests for information or assistance via telephone, email, written correspondence, and face to face, exercising initiative in the identification and delivery of solutions and escalating to the correct people team colleague where necessary. This will include management of relevant inbox’s, being responsible for handling routine and non-routine, highly confidential and sensitive information. Ensuring that all emails are responded to within 48 hours of receipt where possible and referring to the correct people team colleague where appropriate.
The production and distribution of confidential correspondence, prioritising accuracy and timely delivery and advising on queries which may arise as result of said correspondence
Liaise with internal departments such as Commercial and Finance, to raise purchase orders to be authorised.
Attending meetings as and when required on behalf of the Talent Acquisition team.
Contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of a number of people processes, enabling effectiveness for both the People Team and colleagues across the organisation.
Planning, coordinating and attending meetings and activities such as training events and careers fairs, liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers where required.
Ensuring all relevant files and documents are kept up to date, in line with GDPR retention schedule regulations.
Managing relevant NHSBSA intranet, acting as the team Office 365 and Hub Champion, ensuring all information for policies, procedures and documents are up-to-date, with relevant NHSBSA branding.
Supporting with the coordination and delivery of HR and People Team projects, undertaking research and sharing knowledge and best practice to help implement and improve services which impact organisation wide.
Supporting with the collation of reports and insight working with the People Data team and TA Advisors
The creation, distribution of adhoc reports, responding to data requests from multiple sources in line with given timescales.
Ensuring the information in relevant shared drives is up to date, easy to locate information, in a methodical order and managed in accordance with GDPR compliance.
Creating and updating Standard operating Procedures for HR, Talent Acquisition and Reward processes.
Support with ensuring our data with the Electronic Staff Record is accurate through regularly reviewing content with the Business Areas and supporting the cleanse of data as needed. In addition, ensure all relevant files and documentation are within GDPR compliance.
