REQUIREMENTS

Key Qualifications:
1)Minimum of 10 years PQE with substantial experience in capital markets law. Proven track record of handling high-profile capital market transactions in Malaysia.
2) Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized university. Admission to the Malaysian Bar or equivalent qualification.
3)Excellent client-facing and communication skills. Deep understanding of Malaysian capital markets regulations.
4)Demonstrated ability to develop business and build lasting client relationships.
This position is only open to Malaysian citizens.

Key Responsibilities:
1)Transaction Management: Oversee and manage capital market transactions, especially IPOs. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met, and transactions are completed successfully.
2)Regulatory Compliance: Advise clients on compliance with the Securities Commission Malaysia’s regulations, Bursa Malaysia requirements, and other relevant laws. Stay updated on the latest legal developments in the capital markets space.
Mentorship & Development: Mentor junior lawyers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the team delivers high-quality legal services.
3) Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including multinational corporations, financial institutions, and public listed companies. Provide expert legal advice on complex capital market transactions.
