JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled corporative lawyer to develop and execute, structure legal documents, help with counsultment for current employees and court representation for our company in Nigeria. The Corprate lawyer will be responsible foremployment law, contracts, debt collection notices.

• Minimum Qualification : Degree
• Experience Level : Mid level
• Experience Length : 3 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree from an accredited law school / University.
• Knowledge of logistic field is an advantage
• Must have at least 3 years of experience as a corporate or court lawyer.
• Ability to conduct in-depth research
• Prior experience working on employment litigation, labor law, and other employment matters would be an advantage
  Compensation: Depends on the skills and experience of the candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advice to the company on current documents(contracts), suggestions for changes, assistance with final change.
• Advising potential agents of the company on contracting questions.
• Assistance to the company in case of fraud cases with current employees.
• Been “legal face” in Nigeria for Unateus company, court representative in case if necessary.
• Drafting documents, emails with requests on behalf of the company, dealing with unpaid money or unreturned goods from deliverers.
• Infrequent offline meetings with agents if requested by management.
