Our client, a renowned and prestigious international bank, is seeking an Inhouse Legal Counsel to join their Legal team .
Position Title: Legal Counsel

Contract Duration: 12-month contract, renewable and convertible

• Support / provide practical legal solutions and guidance to the corporate banking business such as Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Credit, Financial Institution, Clearing Bank, Asset Management & Securities Services, Treasury, Debt Capital Market and Investment Bank
• Review, revise and enhance Bank’s standard documentation as well as non-Bank standard documentation to suit the business stakeholders’ needs
• Review corporate facility documentation (i.e. syndication, club deals, other bilateral arrangements, inter bank borrowing), contribute actively and effectively during documentation negotiation stage in collaboration with business stakeholder
• Coordinate and attend to reporting requests or information requisition from head office where such request for information/ survey is in relation to the business stakeholders
• Provide legal updates and changes in law and regulations. Conduct gap analysis to advice on the impact of such changes and how best to comply with such changes to business stakeholders
• Provide legal training, issue guidelines, legal bulletin to raise legal awareness as and when required to the business stakeholders
