We are currently seeking a full time legal assistant or paralegal to join our corporate services team. As part of the corporate services team, you will have shared responsibility for maintaining the corporate records for over 1,300 companies. This is a very important role at our firm and there is a high level of responsibility and autonomy. You are the primary touchpoint for our corporate clients so this position requires a focus on client experience, a self-directed working style and an ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of work in a fast paced environment.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain corporate records for 1300+ companies including preparing all annual maintenance documents and uploading executed and filed documents to virtual minute books;
- Attend to filings with the BC Registry, Corporations Canada and Societies Online;
- Prepare documents resulting from change of officer, director and registered and records offices;
- Conduct minute book reviews and prepare documents to correct deficiencies;
- Correspond with accountants and clients;
- Any corporate and administrative related follow up.
