Description:

BDO Ireland have an opening for a Part-Time manager position in BDO Ireland’s Corporate Secretarial Division.
In this role, you will manage a team of 2-3 direct reports at various stages of their careers, playing a key role in their development through coaching, mentoring. You will oversee the work of BDO team members and manage a large portfolio of diverse clients across various industry sectors.
You will become a valuable member of our highly regarded and dynamic Corporate Secretarial team, where you will play a pivotal role in a diverse range of thrilling projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of 2-3 direct reports at various stages of their careers
  • Playing an integral role in team development by coaching and mentoring team members and assisting with their career growth
  • Conducting performance evaluations of team members
  • Overseeing the work of BDO team members
  • Managing a large portfolio of diverse clients across various industry sectors
  • Proactively supporting and advising our clients on their obligations under the Companies Act 2014, including annual compliance and other relevant statutory requirements
  • Developing new and existing relationships with clients
  • Involved in transactions of a technical nature, advising clients on these matters, and supporting them through each step
  • Hosting and managing client/board meetings
  • Managing your portfolio budget
  • Managing stakeholder expectations

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Third-level qualification in a related area and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in a business environment.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • ICSA qualified with a focus on task administration and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Blueprint software or similar.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and ambition.
  • Focus on client delivery with the ability to interact credibly at a senior level.
  • Proficient in supervising, reviewing work, and delegating tasks to ensure efficient client service.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing multiple clients, and working resiliently to meet tight deadlines.
