Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY:
As the Corporate Secretariat Officer at King Edward VII’s Hospital, you will play a crucial role in supporting the hospital’s governance and executive functions. You will be responsible for managing high-level meetings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing essential administrative support to the Board of Trustees, Executive Team, and Chief Executive’s Office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the smooth operation of a prestigious healthcare institution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Executive and Board-level meetings to ensure seamless agenda planning, paper quality, and timely distribution, enabling effective decision-making at the highest level.
- Provide support for additional Executive and Board-level meetings as needed, to maintain continuity and efficiency across all levels of governance.
- Draft and review reports and policies in alignment with governance standards, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
- Assist with forward planning and scheduling of meetings to keep all plans and schedules up-to-date, ensuring well-coordinated and timely decision-making.
- Conduct regulatory FPPR assessments for key stakeholders to maintain compliance with legal requirements, upholding the hospital’s commitment to governance excellence.
- Maintain registers and accurate records to ensure transparency and adherence to governance policies, facilitating easy access to essential information.
- Organise logistics for meetings by arranging rooms and hospitality, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Support the Chief Executive’s Office and Executive Team with diary management and administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of executive functions.
- Provide additional administrative support as directed, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to the hospital’s needs.
