JOB DESCRIPTION

Assists in the implementation of an effective risk management framework. Monitors systems, databases, information, processes or procedures. Identifies and escalates matters requiring attention to the appropriate area. Performs work on projects and initiatives, and assists in the assessment and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinates the collection and/or compilation of data, and compiles and provides reports. May assist in report development and analyzing data. Provides guidance, support and recommendations to Lines of Business and assists in the implementation of Risk/Audit/Compliance initiatives.
Card Access Specialists are responsible for communicating and interacting with business partners in an effort to produce and maintain card access privileges for US Bank employees, contractors and vendors in an effort to maintain security and safety of people, assets, and information. Card Access Specialists operate software and analyze data to perform the service of physical identity and access management applying critical thinking and problem solving skills to manage physical access and mitigate risk.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically less than one year of applicable experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Basic understanding of associated operations, products/services, systems, and risks/controls applicable to assigned area
  • Basic understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong PC skills, particularly word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and presentations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You’ll contribute to the overall strategy and risk profile by:

  • Processing New Badge requests within pre-determined service level agreement timelines
  • Troubleshooting difficulties cardholders may have within their access card, card readers, and working requests within the Card Access System
  • Organize, maintain record of, and support Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Access Reports
  • Assist in the setup and decommission of card access sites within the Card Access System
