Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Pinchin’s Organizational Clearances with PSPC CSP, the Controlled Goods Program and other Federal, Provincial and Private Sector organizations.
  • Be responsible for leading the administration of personnel security clearances (new, renewals, upgrades, duplications, amendments, terminations).
  • Appoint, brief, and train all ACSOs. All work must comply with the Contract Security Manual (CSM) and the CSP’s requirements.
  • Provide ongoing basic education and awareness to employees on the corporate security program.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion and submission of Personnel Security Screening Requests and Visit Clearance Requests.
  • Support new employees on arrival as required.
  • Maintain all Company security files, including protected/classified documentation.
  • Completing and maintaining certification in the Designated Official Certification Program.
  • Seek out assistance from PSPC/CSP for security briefings and training as required.
  • Work with the Contracts team for the administration of security requirements on all subcontracts prior to contract award and during the term of the agreement.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategies to assess, mitigate, and manage risks across all operational facets of the organization.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust security processes and policies to safeguard the corporation’s assets.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the security team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement; and
  • Develop and mentor team members, empowering them to excel in their roles and contribute effectively to the organization’s security objectives.
